Q: I've heard there was some content taken out of the American Psycho book, and I was just trying to find out if I possibly bought the edited version.

A: You may have heard this from someone who has read the book Lunar Park by Bret Easton Ellis.

He describes the process of writing the book, in a very creepy manner, and there are parts that he (the fictional Bret Easton Ellis, protagonist

I have read the book a few times, and it is truly an remarkable book. But I am still wondering whether Patrick Bateman did kill Paul Owen, and who he did or didn't kill. I understand the themes and the ending perfectly, but I want to know what you people

I just finished American Psycho tonight. I think it's a fantastic book, as is everything else I've read from Ellis. I have no scholarly examination to offer, just my point of view.

I think there is plenty of doubt about everything in American

Book Review: Psycho: A Novel – Author Robert Bloch | Horror News ...

Price: $13.95

A girl stops in for the night at an out of the way motel on a remote stretch of road. She seems frazzled and a little road weary but converses politely with the motel clerk before heading to her room. After some time to reflect on her plans she readies herself for a nice hot shower. She begins to relax under the warm stream of the shower head and is caught off guard when the slashing knife of a killer ultimately drains her of life. Does this plot seem familiar? It should because it is the premise for Alfred Hitchcock ’s “Psycho” which is arguably one of the overall in the most suitable way suspense thrillers in history and way on of its time. But where did the idea come from? What mind created this dark and riveting story? Inventor Robert Bloch penned Psycho in novel form back in 1959, just a year before its theatrical debut.

Though I was very familiar with the movie when I discovered this book in my grandmother’s attic, I was ready to explore the pages and do a little comparing and contrasting between the novel and the movie. Most book-to-movie adaptations will have some obvious differences including a deeper look into the minds and motives of the characters therefore creating a advance understanding of each character. This is very true of Robert Bloch’s Psycho in that you can empathize with Mary, the girl on the run with a load of cash, and her need to get her and her boyfriend’s lives on a outstrip track. You also find yourself pulled into Norman Bates’, the motel owner/clerk whose overbearing mother has a tight grip on him, misery and disdain for his mother’s treatment of him.

Gossip Girl: Psycho Killer by Cecily Von Ziegesar
I love an out there twist. And when I heard about the new book, "Gossip Girl: Psycho Killer" by the series creator Cecily Von Ziegesar, I knew I had to track it down. "Psycho Killer" takes the events from the first book but makes Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen crazed murderesses.

Serena's been kicked out of boarding school (one too many bodies) and is back in New York again. She wants to murder her superlative friend, Blair's boyfriend, Nate Archibald, so she and Blair will be tight again. Except for the fact that Nate cheated on Blair with Serena before she left for boarding school and she may still have feelings for him...

Meanwhile, Blair's not so happy her ex-pre-eminent friend is back because she'll no longer be the 'it' girl - in school and possibly with Nate. He's been acting so strange lately... When Serena murders someone at Blair's party, she decides that anything Serena can do, she can do beat and the maiming and murder sprees start off!

Psycho Butt

I love how psychotic the criminals in batman are but i want to read story about what turned them into psycho killers like them. I just prefer a full length novel over a comic book.

...You want to get inside the head of a psychotic criminal or asylum inmate? I think the newest version of the Joker (portrayed by Heath Ledger) was very good a that. He wasn't just evil, he was mentally off his rocker.

There's also the

American Psycho

Don't tell me who dies or how they die, just the amount of people who died.

Just the one, maybe two at most. Not including the first victim.
