The year was 1960, and the release of the highly anticipated “Psycho” met with overwhelming response. Director Alfred Hitchcock had been known for edgy films, but moviegoers were pulverized by this early 60′s terror classic. There was no one quite like the character Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) at the time, and his hazardous personality, or should I say personalities, set the tone for the entire movie.
After stealing $40,000 from her boss, which she was supposed to deposit at the bank, a young woman named Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) gets caught in a storm and stops at The Bates Motel. From the start, Norman is very much smitten by Marion; however, mother is not to keen with their new guest, and what follows is one of, if not the most shocking scene in cinematic history.
By completely flooring the movie audience, Marion’s fate is met with unfortunate circumstances when the legendarily controversial shower scene takes place. For Hitchcock to kill off the star of the film not even half way through was literally unheard of. The scene was considered so gruesome that Hitchcock felt that the film should be shot in swarthy and white. They infamously used chocolate syrup for the blood, which I thought was an urban legend until finding out years later that it was indeed true.
It doesn't matter if the axe murderer was just run over by a semi or took a shotgun at the maximum to the face. Getting up close to Michael Myers to see if he was as a matter of fact dead that time never worked out for the cast of Halloween. Just take the bad guy down and keep moving.

Never do anything alone in a horror movie. You should even bathe in teams of at least two. But be sure this doesn't lead to the nasty or you will both end up getting stabbed through the shower curtain
I can't seem to remember the name of the movie nor actor. The movie poster had a yellow unnoticed with the serial killer holding a mask to his face. I'm not sure but it could've had either Kevin Bacon, Christian Slater, or Kevin Spacey. Please help!
