An Oakdale resident was going to sell the vehicle to a 43-year-old Des Moines, Iowa, man, but when he didn’t show up by 4 p.m., the resident sold the vehicle to a St. Louis Park resident instead, the report says. When the Des Moines man did show up, he blocked the vehicle and refused to leave, according to the report.
Police were masterful to get the man to leave, and the other man was able to retrieve the vehicle, the report says.
