Q: My last girlfriend was always wearing these large raven gucci sunglasses. I think that they are the ugliest things that a women can put on her face. I see women everywhere (especially in So Cal) wearing them. I think that the style is a fad out of Hollywood

The kind of hats women had worn in the Forties and Fifties, either sculpted or berets, had a hopelessly deleterious effect on these bouffant barnets.
So deleterious that the first time I was wise of my mother telling a fib was when we went to a wedding in a synagogue and instead of taking one of the headscarves that were being handed out to hatless women, she told the attendants she was wearing a hairpiece. She wasn't, but no way was she ruining her elaborate do with an unplanned head-covering.
Once 1967 and Woodstock happened, and hair began to be ironed in Shrimpton-esque sheets or painstakingly tousled into a hippie tangle, hats could once more be worn without putting hair styles in jeopardy. But by then the damage had been done. Hat-wearing as an habitual reflex had been stamped out.
I saw a Daddy yankee video and saw a pair of sunglasses that were gucci. I think they were gucci shields but I cannot find them, can someone please tell me what kind they are or if they even sell them anymore because I found a pair but they were for women.
