With the economies of scale and global reach that companies can now execute online, why waste hundreds of dollars seeking out creative professionals by posting job opportunities on Monster, CareerBuilder, or any of the other online job boards when you can leverage your search into a creative marketing campaign that can solicit free, professional content while also showcasing the skills and experience of your potential candidate pool. Sunglass Hut has done just this, with their “Full Time Fabulous” campaign , offering participants a chance to land their dream job as SH’s next “fashion-forward blogger,” posting up-to-the-minute reports on trends, fashion collections, style tips, and the global happenings of the fashion world.

When you visit FullTimeFabulous.com , Sunglass Hut’s microsite which details the contest, you’ll find the Top 10 Finalists and a sample of their recent blogs, a collection of mini webisodes hosted by Rachel Bilson, the collection of prizes (which includes a cool 100K, a fully-furnished apartment in Manhattan, a $1,000 monthly style deduction, and all sorts of other goodies), and more. The site is wrapped in the traditional moonless-and-gold branding that distinguishes the Sunglass Hut and is sprinkled with design goodies such as elegant shading, wrapping ribbons, photo borders, and even a “countdown clock,” ticking down the seconds until the winner of the contest is unveiled.
...Too many times in the past, Todd Hendricks found himself being dragged to the mall by his mom or girlfriend, forced to stand around and pretend to be interested when all he really wanted to do was relax in a comfy chair and watch the big game on TV.

"You'd always see other people waiting on people who were shopping, whether it's their wives or whatever. I spent a lot of time waiting and it kind of cut into my football time," said Mr. Hendricks, who received his function degree from Ohio State University last December.
"I would talk with my dad and we'd say, 'If they showed the Buckeye football game at the mall theater, I'd pay six bucks to go watch that,' " he said.
